I began my flying career right here in Massachusetts in 1986. I first soloed at Plymouth and over the years worked as an Instructor at the Norwood, Hyannis, New Bedford and Taunton airports. From flying scenic flights at Provincetown, hauling freight for Wiggins Airways to flying jet charters at Marshfield I have experienced much of what General Aviation in the Northeast has to offer. Now a resident of South Carolina, I still return to Cape Cod each summer to enjoy the great flying experiences that only New England can provide. My passion for sharing that with others led me to founding Aloft Flight so I can share what I have learned along the way!.

Originally from Shreveport, LA, and after a successful twenty-five-year career in construction, I took to aviation. It fulfills my passion for traveling and the enjoyment of meeting new people in new places. I learned to fly in San Diego, CA. I was soon to become a commercial pilot, co-pilot of the King Air 200. Thereafter, I became a CFI and so enjoyed teaching others that I additionally become an Instrument Instructor. I have had students across the country, from Louisiana to Indiana, Kentucky to California, and now on beautiful Cape Cod. I moved to Cape Cod in April of 2021 and look forward to meeting my new community and sharing the joys of flight from Hyannis Airport.

Hello and welcome to Aloft Flight! I am an active instructor with 18 years of flight and ground instruction management and training experience in locations as diverse as Florida, Texas, and New England. I am a long-time former FAA-authorized chief instructor for Bridgewater State University’s Aviation Science program and now serve the program as a check pilot and Assistant Professor. I am always looking for ways to share aviation with others; I began volunteering with the Civil Air Patrol in 2011 and now serve as a Cadet Programs Officer, helping young men and women develop into tomorrow’s community and aerospace leaders. Teaching and flying are personal and professional passions, and I look forward to sharing the joy of flight with our Aloft Flight customers at every opportunity!

I originally learned to fly here in New England, where I earned my private pilot and instrument certificates at the Marlboro Airport. After relocating to San Diego, I earned my Commercial, CFI, and CFII certificates. I have been flying general aviation aircraft for over thirty years and have been a flight instructor for over sixteen years. I now live year-round on the Cape (closer to the grandchildren) and enjoy flying my personal aircraft around the Cape. If you ever see a little yellow Cub flying over the Cape beaches at 600 feet and 60 MPH, that’s likely me! With over 4,500 hours of flight experience in single and multi-engine aircraft, I especially enjoy teaching and sharing my love of flight with others. When I am not flying, I also enjoy building (and then flying) experimental aircraft. I have completed a nosewheel RV-14A, a tailwheel Vans RV-8 and most recently, a Vans RV-10. Hope to see you around the patch at the Hyannis Airport.
